Diary Dates - On the road with Tom Bates - Feb - March 2008:

Following the successful launch of his two latest books `Northern Derbyshire - Snapshots in Time' ( New Age Poetry Press, Nov.2007) and `Weird, Wacky and Wonderful Derbyshire Folk - A Book of Tributes' (New Age Poetry Press, Jan. 2008) Tom is scheduled to appear at Clay Cross Library on Friday February 22nd from 10-30 until 12 noon, and will be available to sign copies of his books.

On Saturday March 1st, Tom will be the guest speaker at the St. David's Day celebrations & will be signing books at the Medway Centre in Ludlow, Shropshire.

On Saturday March 29th the New Mills Arts Centre will be hosting An Evening with Tom Bates from 7-30pm. Tom will be reading his poetry and talking about his writing, and will be available for an informal chat, and book signing. The venue is the church of St. James the Less, New Mills, Derbyshire. There will also be a selection of readings from his two novels, `The Adventures of Harry the Hippie' and the much acclaimed `Suicide Generation' plus short stories from `Old Tom's Tall Tales'......
